Key Insights:

  • Securitize's tokenized assets reached a record $4.3 billion during the second quarter of 2026.
  • Quarterly revenue declined 5% despite strong growth across tokenized assets and transactions.
  • Securitize recorded $5.3 billion in transaction volume, marking a 147% yearly increase.

Securitize is growing its tokenization business even as revenue slips. The company reported $14.4 million in second quarter revenue, down 5% year over year, while average tokenized assets under management reached a record $4.3 billion, showing stronger demand for blockchain-based financial products.

Securitize Hits $4.3B in Tokenized Assets

Securitize continued to expand its position in the tokenization market during the second quarter, which ended June 30, 2026.

The company reported average tokenized assets under management (AUM) of $4.3 billion, up 16% from the same period last year. Total tokenized AUM also stood at $4.3 billion at the end of June, marking a 9% yearly increase.

Securitize said it added around $1 billion in AUM during the quarter, helping the business recover from declines seen over the previous two quarters.

The company also said more than seven tokenized assets now have at least $100 million in AUM. This gives Securitize a larger base of institutional products as demand for tokenized funds, securities and other real-world assets grows.

Carlos Domingo, Securitize chairman and CEO, said the company has around $5 billion in assets managed onchain, while calling it the largest tokenization platform by AUM.

Revenue Falls Despite Stronger Tokenization Activity

Despite the growth in assets, Securitize's revenue moved in the opposite direction. The company reported $14.4 million in Q2 revenue, down 5% from the previous year. Its net loss reached $21.7 million, equal to a diluted loss of $2.37 per share.

Adjusted EBITDA also turned negative, with a $5.5 million loss, compared with positive adjusted EBITDA of $1.8 million in Q2 2025.

The numbers show that growing tokenized assets have not yet translated directly into higher revenue or profits.

Securitize CFO Francisco Flores said quarterly revenue can be "volatile" while the company is still growing. He added that the company is continuing to invest in its businesses and capabilities to support future growth.

The company entered the third quarter with a stronger balance sheet after its business combination closed. Securitize said it had around $350 million in cash and no debt.

Transaction Activity Jumps 147%

While revenue declined, activity across the platform increased sharply. Securitize recorded $5.3 billion in aggregate transaction volume during Q2, up 147% from a year earlier.

That growth shows that more assets are not only being placed onchain but are also being moved through the company's infrastructure.

Securitize also expanded its role across the wider financial market. During the quarter, Computershare and Continental Stock Transfer & Trust selected the company to support tokenized shares for U.S. public companies.

The company also received FINRA approval to expand its broker-dealer services. The approval allows Securitize Markets to custody tokenized securities and support atomic settlement between tokenized securities and stablecoins.

These changes could help Securitize earn from more parts of the tokenization process, including issuance, custody, trading, and settlement.

Why Securitize's Public Listing Matters

Securitize's biggest milestone came just after the quarter ended. On July 2, the company began trading on the New York Stock Exchange, becoming the first tokenization company to go public, according to Domingo.

At the same time, Securitize put its own common stock onchain. The company said this made its shares the largest tokenized equity in the industry and the first U.S. public stock to be tokenized on its first trading day.

Domingo said the move demonstrates how other public companies could bring their shares onchain while operating within existing regulations.

Securitize Builds Beyond Tokenized Funds

Securitize is also moving deeper into public equities, private markets and onchain finance.

The company partnered with Jump Trading and Jupiter to develop infrastructure for regulated public equity trading and onchain liquidity. It also partnered with Cantor Fitzgerald to support future onchain IPOs and follow-on offerings.

Meanwhile, Securitize expanded its tokenized fund infrastructure across Solana and TRON, while BlackRock's BUIDL became available as yield-bearing collateral through a framework involving OKX and Standard Chartered.

The company was also selected by Atlas Capital to tokenize USAFi, a digital security backed by the Atlas America Fund.

With tokenized AUM growing, transaction volume rising and new institutional partnerships taking shape, Securitize's Q2 results show a business still spending heavily to build its market.
