Bitget has announced a collaboration with the Google Developer Group (GDG) on a second hackathon, the “AI Accelerate Hack”.

This event is part of Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth CSR initiative and will take place at KU Leuven in Belgium on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Details and Goals of the Hackathon

The “AI Accelerate Hack” is a competitive event where developers and designers collaborate to build innovative solutions for real-world business challenges.

The event expects to gather 200 participants from different backgrounds. The hackathon intends to inspire young talents to utilize innovative tools for shaping the future of the technology sector.

The main theme of the event is “Fueling fast-paced innovation through the synergy of technology, business, and creativity.” While primarily designed for Master’s students in Computer Engineering and related disciplines, the hackathon is also open to students from other academic fields, recent graduates with up to two years of professional experience, and enthusiastic tech experts.

Event Schedule and Future Plans

The event will commence with a short opening ceremony, where Bitget will introduce the Blockchain4Youth initiative and the recently launched Graduate Program.

This program seeks to recruit top university talent and place them directly into real Web3 workstreams. Through this program, graduates join one of the world’s fastest-growing exchanges, collaborate with colleagues from over 50 countries, and progress through a clear development path that combines rotations, mentorship, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to ship on the frontier.

Following the opening ceremony, the core 10-hour hacking period will begin. The event will conclude with teams presenting their final projects and awards being distributed to the winners.

The AI Accelerate Hack is the second collaboration between Bitget and GDG, following a successful hackathon held at Constructor University. It forms a crucial part of Bitget’s broader Blockchain4Youth initiative, which includes several ongoing initiatives globally to spread education and knowledge in the sector.

Vugar Usi Zade, COO of Bitget, stated that the Blockchain4Youth programs continue to grow and expand worldwide. He emphasized that such hackathons provide an excellent opportunity to engage with promising students, share expertise as mentors, and continuously build their community through shared knowledge.

In the future, the initiative will also include the WAIB Summit AI x Web3 Hackathon from November 14-16, a three-day event at KU Leuven. This event will bring together students, developers, entrepreneurs, and researchers to build groundbreaking solutions at the intersection of artificial intelligence and Web3.
