Andreea’s medical background

Andreea was diagnosed 11 years ago with synovial sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that initially developed in her leg.

Over time, the disease spread to other parts of her body despite extensive medical interventions.

Her treatment history includes multiple surgeries, the amputation of one leg, removal of lung lobes, and repeated chemotherapy sessions.

Doctors in Romania and other European countries have indicated that no standard treatment options remain available locally.

The proposed therapy, Tecelra, is an advanced T-cell treatment developed in the United States and intended for synovial sarcoma cases after standard therapies fail.

Access to this therapy requires full payment before scheduling and travel arrangements can be made.

Current campaign status

The campaign has raised over $1.3 million within five days, leaving less than $1 million still needed.

Andreea is currently hospitalized at the Municipal Hospital in Fălticeni due to severe complications following her most recent chemotherapy round.
