Uniswap just hit two major milestones: its daily active addresses reached 14,591, and 13,137 new addresses were created in a single day.
These major developments were recorded while UNI's price continued moving sideways below the key support level of $7.10.
Uniswap has also seen several major upgrades across its ecosystem, including Aggregator Hooks, VolatilePair Hooks, and Unichain’s OP Enterprise upgrade.
Derivatives data signal mixed sentiment among market participants, as long-term holders appear to be withdrawing tokens, while intraday traders appear to be betting on short positions.
Uniswap has introduced a mechanism under which 100% of activated protocol fees are used to burn UNI tokens.
Uniswap’s on-chain activity has just exploded, while its native token, UNI, seems to be struggling. Recently, the analytics platform Santiment revealed that the network has hit two major adoption milestones.

The report reveals that the Uniswap ecosystem recently witnessed several major upgrades, including Aggregator Hooks routing external liquidity through v4, VolatilePair Hooks expanding dynamic pricing, and Unichain’s OP Enterprise upgrade arriving on October 29, 2026.
Additionally, Uniswap hit $6.112 billion in cumulative protocol fees, according to DeFiLlama. Meanwhile, the leading DEX alone has generated $89 million in fees over the past 30 days. At present, the network has outpaced Hyperliquid, Aave, and Morpho in terms of fee generation by a notable margin
Besides, Uniswap has activated a mechanism that uses 100% of activated protocol fees to burn UNI tokens. This development appears to be a bullish sign, as it reduces the circulating supply of UNI over time, potentially supporting the asset’s long-term value.

Despite all these developments, the UNI price has failed to gain momentum as it continues to move sideways. According to CoinMarketCap data, the asset has declined 2.55% over the past 24 hours and trades at the $7.05 level. During the same period, UNI’s trading volume surged by 29% to $352.20 million.
This growing trading volume, while the price continues to fall, suggests increased participation from investors and traders amid the asset’s ongoing bearish trend.
UNI Price Action: Key Levels to Watch

At the time of writing, UNI price faced a make-or-break situation. Based on the current price action, if the asset remains below the $7 level, its bearish outlook will remain intact. However, market sentiment could potentially shift if UNI’s price reclaims the key support level and moves above $7.50. UNI’s Average Directional Index (ADX) reads 28.33, above the key threshold of 25, indicating a strong ongoing trend.
