Uniswap (UNI) Whales Withdraw $4.61 Million Ahead of CME Listing
Uniswap’s (UNI) upcoming CME listing appears to be driving interest among crypto whales, as a newly created wallet withdrew $4.6 million worth of tokens, hinting that an upside move could be on the horizon.
CME Group’s upcoming Uniswap (UNI) listing has begun attracting whale interest, with massive exchange outflows recorded over the past 24 hours.
As per the report, the world’s leading derivatives marketplace will launch Uniswap (UNI) futures on October 19, 2026, marking what appears to be its first listing of a decentralized exchange governance token.
Recently, a newly created crypto wallet withdrew 600,007 UNI tokens worth $4.61 million from Binance.
Meanwhile, derivatives data further support UNI’s positive outlook, as long-term holders continue to move tokens off exchanges.
Bullish sentiment around Uniswap (UNI) is heating up as whales and long-term holders have shown remarkable interest in the asset. The catalyst driving this growing attraction appears to be its upcoming listing on CME, the world’s leading derivatives marketplace, scheduled for October 19, 2026.
Why Uniswap (UNI) is in Demand?
A report from CME disclosed that this expansion of new products comes in response to strong client demand for institutional-grade risk management tools across high-liquidity altcoin markets. In fact, the Group is not only listing Uniswap futures but also Bitcoin Cash futures.
Additionally, the report stated that market participants will have the option to trade both standard- and micro-sized contracts, including Uniswap futures (10,000 UNI), Micro Uniswap futures (1,000 UNI), Bitcoin Cash futures (250 BCH), and Micro Bitcoin Cash futures (25 BCH).
Looking at these developments, the outlook for UNI appears bullish, as the asset’s listing on CME gives traditional financial firms access to regulated exposure to the token. Additionally, futures trading can attract more market participants, as it does not require them to own the underlying asset.
With the upcoming listing, crypto whales have shown strong interest in the asset. According to a recent post by crypto transaction tracker Lookonchain, a newly created wallet address, “0x1389,” moved 600,007 UNI tokens worth $4.61 million from Binance.
In fact, derivatives data show a similar trend. As per CoinGlass's latest dataset, more than $2.74 million worth of UNI tokens flowed out of exchanges over the past 24 hours, suggesting that tokens are moving from exchanges to wallets and indicating potential accumulation.
Alongside whales, long-term holders and intraday traders also appear to be following the same trend. According to UNI's exchange liquidation map, $7.45 and $7.86 are the two major liquidation levels where traders appear to be overleveraged. In fact, traders at these levels have built $6.01 million worth of leveraged long positions and $3.08 million worth of short positions.

All these datasets together suggest bullish dominance, while sellers' interest appears to be waning.
UNI Price: All Eyes on $7 Make-or-Break Level
Despite these bullish developments, UNI's price declined over 4% yesterday and 1.2% over the past 24 hours. At press time, it was trading at $7.21. However, market participants appear to have maintained their interest in the asset, as evidenced by trading volume, which jumped 11% to $453 million during the same period.
What’s next for UNI’s price: will it recover or continue to fall in the coming days?
Looking at TradingView’s four-hour chart, UNI price seems to be approaching a make-or-break level of $7.00, from which it has previously reversed sharply. In fact, this level has recently turned from resistance into support.

Current price action suggests that if the downside momentum continues and the price falls below $7.00, a further decline of over 17% could occur, potentially falling to the next key support near $6.00.
However, this bearish thesis could be invalidated if the price sustains itself above $7.00. In this case, history might repeat itself, leading to another price reversal.
At present, UNI’s Average Directional Index (ADX) stands at 25.56, remaining above 25 and indicating strong trend strength. This suggests that the current trend could continue in the coming days.
