XRP Price Prediction: Will it Fall to $0.98 or Continue to Rise?
XRP price prediction appears bearish, as multiple datasets point to a bearish outlook, from declining whale counts to rising XRP balances on exchanges, while an analyst's bold prediction signals a potential massive decline ahead.
Amid the ongoing market uncertainty, XRP price prediction appears to be turning bearish as an analyst signals a potential decline toward the $0.98 level.
In a report, an analyst stated that wallets holding between 10 million and 100 million XRP have declined notably over the past week, while balances on exchanges continue to rise, hinting at growing selling pressure.
Despite these bearish developments, XRP price has shown positive movement over the past 24 hours and continues to hover near the key support level of $1.32.
From a price action perspective, if XRP price falls and fails to hold the $1.26 level, the risk of another 21% decline could increase.
Bearish sentiment around XRP continues to rise, as declining whale counts, growing exchange balances, and analysts' bold predictions signal more pain ahead. While these developments impacted price earlier, it recovered, rising1.4% in 24 hours.
It's worth noting that XRP's trading volume during the same period surged 27% to $1.14 billion. This growing trading volume, while the price continued sideways, was recorded as the asset hovered near the key support level of $1.26, a level that has acted as a key floor since August 22, 2026.
The XRP price near $1.26 is now raising fears of a potential support breakdown, as multiple negative data points strengthen this bearish outlook.
XRP On-Chain Data Signals Bearish Bias
Recently, a well-followed crypto analyst shared a post on X revealing that the number of crypto whales holding between 10 million and 100 million XRP has fallen from 351 to 339 over the past few weeks. During the same period, the asset has continued its sideways movement; in fact, it declined 0.95%. In light of this development, the analyst said the decline raises the possibility of increasing selling pressure.
Additionally, XRP balances on exchanges continue to rise, hinting at preparations for a potential sell-off. In a post on X, the analyst stated that XRP holdings on exchanges have risen from 11.003 billion to around 11.05 billion and have remained elevated over the past week. This shows an increase of approximately 47 million XRP across exchanges.
Growing asset reserves on exchanges mean more supply is available for selling, which could potentially increase selling pressure.
XRP Price Prediction: Beyond $1.26
Looking at TradingView's daily chart, XRP's short-term bias appears bearish, and the asset seems to be on the verge of a massive downside move. On the daily chart, XRP was earlier hovering near a major support level at $1.26, which has previously triggered price reversals in September and October 2026. At the time of writing, the coin has surpassed this level to reach $1.31.

However, this time, XRP price has failed to record a reversal as it continues its sideways movement. Based on the current price action, if the asset fails to reverse and falls below this key support level, a strong downside move could follow. In this scenario, the asset could potentially decline 20% and fall to $1.00, the next key support level.
On the other hand, if XRP price continues above the $1.26 level, it could repeat its historical pattern and witness a potential price reversal.
At press time, XRP’s Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) stands at -0.03, indicating mild selling pressure and capital outflows, suggesting that sellers continue to maintain a slight edge over buyers.
Looking at these developments and the current price action, the analyst further added that $1.26 acted as a key support level, as it has served as the lower boundary of a channel since August 2026. If XRP price breaks below this support, it could send the asset toward the $1.11 level, while the channel pattern ultimately points to the $0.98 level, representing a potential 22% decline.
