Ethereum Price Prediction: Why This Could Be Bullish?

Ethereum price bounced from the $2,400 area again, but the recovery has not cleared the key levels that matter. According to crypto analyst Ted, ETH must reclaim $2,550 before buyers can push higher. If it fails there, ETH risks slipping below $2,400.
The pressure is not only on the chart. Money has flowed out of spot Ethereum ETFs for 10 trading days in a row, and the short-term structure still shows lower highs.
Ted shared his view on X, stating that ETH tapped the $2,400 zone again but then had a quick recovery.
"Now, Ethereum needs to reclaim $2,550 for more upside. A failure to reclaim could push ETH below $2,400."
His chart shows ETH trying to climb back from its earlier drop. The moving averages sit between $2,560 and $2,750, an overhead band sellers have defended.
The $2,550 level is important since it sits right under that band. Above it, the first real barrier waits near $2,802, and a break there would bring Ted’s major target at $3,447 into view.
The downside map is just as clear. Near-term support sits at $2,357, followed by a demand area between $2,200 and $2,250.
If that zone gives way, $1,966 is the next level to watch, with deeper support at $1,748 from the previous price structure. These levels come from Ted’s chart annotations and are approximate.
In the bullish case, ETH holds the $2,350–$2,400 area and rebounds toward $2,800. A clear breakout there would put the $3,447 target in focus.
In the bearish case, a loss of $2,350 could drag the Ethereum price toward the $2,200–$2,250 demand zone. Below that, $1,966 and then $1,748 come into play if selling continues.
US spot Ethereum ETFs have not recorded a day of net inflows since September 28, when they took in $17.10 million. Since then, the funds have posted 10 straight sessions of outflows totaling roughly $782.58 million.
The heaviest selling came early last week. Outflows hit $201.89 million on October 6 and $160.77 million on October 7. The week ending October 9 closed with $542.07 million in net outflows, the worst of the current run. Monday, October 12, added another $85.40 million.

The weekly numbers show how fast the mood turned. In the week ending September 25, the same products pulled in $689.88 million.
The following week saw $138.02 million leave, and the week after that lost more than half a billion dollars. Most of the late-September inflow has already walked back out.
ETF flows do not set the Ethereum price on their own. Still, steady redemptions remove a source of demand that helped ETH earlier in September.
Our ETH/USDT 1-hour chart shows a short-term bearish trend. ETH recovered from the $2,406 support zone but stalled near $2,500 and now trades around $2,505.
Immediate support sits between $2,480 and $2,500, with major support at $2,406. On the upside, the first resistance band runs from $2,550 to $2,576, and the next hurdle is $2,600.

Price action still favors sellers. Ethereum has printed lower highs since dropping from the $2,700 region, and every bounce so far has stalled below the previous peak. The RSI sits around 46 to 48, which points to weak buying strength and a slight bearish bias.
The MACD turned positive during the latest recovery, but the bullish push looks limited. Open interest fell during the recent drop, so traders closed positions.
The 1-hour setup lines up with Ted’s view. The Ethereum price sits just below the $2,550 level he flagged, and buyers have not shown enough strength to push through it yet.
If ETH holds the $2,480–$2,500 zone and breaks above $2,550–$2,576, it could move toward $2,600. A breakout on stronger volume would make that move more convincing.
Clearing that area would also hit Ted’s reclaim condition and put the moving average band and $2,802 back on the table.
If ETH loses the $2,480–$2,500 support zone, selling pressure could grow and push the price toward $2,450, with a possible retest of $2,406. For now, Ethereum price is stuck between two clear lines, $2,550 above and $2,400 below.
