BlockInsider Crypto ETF Report: TRX Emerges As King Of Zero

Crypto ETFs just suffered $1.2 billion in outflows, but one overlooked fund stands out for a surprising reason. What does the silence signal?

Crypto ETFs bled $1.2 billion this past week, their heaviest weekly outflow in months, on-chain data shows.
Yet the most striking number belongs to Tron, whose lone ETF has recorded nothing for a month. That silence has earned TRX an unlikely title among crypto ETFs.
The crypto market had a particularly rough week, as ETFs collectively saw $1.2 billion in outflows. The prior week had brought in more than $3 billion.
That contrast shows how quickly sentiment turned.
Bitcoin led the outflows with $681.10 million leaving its funds. Ethereum followed closely, with $542.07 million leaving the asset. Together, the two account for more than 97% of the net outflows.

Smaller assets bucked the trend, with XRP adding $11.31 million and LINK adding $9.48 million. HYPE funds lost $9.43 million. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana all ended the week in the red, while only smaller assets posted gains.
Bitcoin had a mixed bag of days. Midweek sessions saw the heaviest selling, with single-day outflows of several hundred million dollars. Another $261.46 million then exited on October 14.

BTC's lukewarm ETF flows have lasted over a month now, signaling a lack of confidence among investors. A September surge in inflows has since faded. Total net assets stand at $104.83 billion, with BTC near $81,840.
Ethereum continues to have its worst spell in a very long time. Since the beginning of October, only October 13 has brought in any money. Every other day has seen outflows from ETH.
That single inflow day was small, at about $25 million. October 14 then added $129.51 million in outflows. Total net assets stand at $15.20 billion, with ETH near $2,431. The heaviest daily outflow topped $200 million. That is notable because September brought a streak of inflow days, one of which topped $250 million.

Solana followed in the altcoin king's footsteps this past week. SOL posted its highest weekly outflow since the launch of SOL ETFs. The $24.81 million exit exceeds every earlier weekly outflow. These outflows came two weeks after an inflow week of roughly $188 million. Net assets slipped to $1.73 billion, down from nearly $2 billion at the peak.

SOL price itself slipped from $108.49 to $104.21.
Tron surprised the market with an astonishing streak of zero inflows or outflows. TRX has only one ETF, the Canary ETF. Investors seem to have completely forgotten about it.
The fund has seen no flows since September 15, its last inflow of roughly $490,000. That marks a whole month of absolutely nothing, making it the king of zeroes among ETFs.

Its total net assets have drifted from a September high above $51 million to $49.96 million. That decline tracks TRX's price, now at $0.33. The fund remains tiny, holding about $50 million in assets.
AVAX also surprised the market, but for the positive. It emerged as one of the better-performing ETF assets, posting $2.52 million in inflows over the past week.

Investors seem more positive toward the AVAX ETF, which has yet to see any outflows since launch. Its net assets reached $57.17 million, even as AVAX later slipped to $9.88. Inflows have appeared steadily since January, peaking near $9 million in late April.
BNB funds also added $1.43 million. For now, the market is split between heavy selling in majors and quiet corners.
